Menlo College is a small but mighty institution dedicated to shaping the next generation of business leaders. With a tight-knit community and a strong alumni network, Menlo prides itself on fostering lifelong connections between graduates and the college. But as the school sought to expand its alumni engagement efforts, they needed a fresh, strategic approach to increase participation and build excitement around their initiatives.
That’s where Menlo College Alumna and Honey & Hive founder, Caitlin, and her team came in.

In 2021, Menlo College’s Marketing and Communications team was looking for additional support to enhance alumni outreach and event engagement. While they had a strong community, they needed a dedicated partner to bring structure, strategy, and execution to their efforts—ensuring that alumni not only stayed connected but actively participated in events and initiatives.
They needed an approach that would blend communications, marketing, and event planning into a cohesive strategy to strengthen alumni relationships.
Over the last four years, Honey & Hive has worked closely with Menlo College on a variety of projects and campaigns aimed at deepening alumni engagement and increasing institutional visibility. This partnership has included specialized initiatives such as the 50 Years of Women at Menlo campaign, Centennial Celebration efforts, annual alumni giving and engagement campaigns, and signature alumni events and reunions.
